You must start service of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve by removing the No. 2 cylinder head cover then breaking the ventilation hose connection from the ventilation valve. Move on to remove the ventilation valve from its housing position. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the valve using adhesive part No. 08833-00070 along with Three Bond 1324 or an equivalent before installing the ventilation valve at 27 N.m (275 kgf.cm, 20 ft.lbf) torque. Start by placing the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve before retrofitting the No. 2 cylinder head cover.
