The Scion Alternator Case Kit provides the means of keeping your small ride charging the way it should by installing a bad alternator shell to maintain the proper alignment and cooling of the voltage in your ride on each drive. In 2003, Scion rocked the market with outspoken colors, basic prices, online displays, and Release Series limited run of cars that allowed young buyers to stamp a personality on each car, and in the process Scion sold over a million cars, many of them to new owners, and this showed that ideas could work under the Toyota umbrella when the badge retired in 2016. The feeling of the Scion being light, easy to squeeze into the parking lot, and customizable was much loved by the drivers, and it continues to draw applied Scion examples into the tuner scene. The Alternator Case Kit is a robust two-piece housing on its own, which adds back structural integrity and keeps the alternator cool and quiet. Installation of this Alternator Case Kit: first of all, find a safe parking place and remove the battery, loosen the drive belt to allow the pulley to free spin, remove the wiring, and remove the alternator out of its bracket. Ease the stator, rotor, bearings, rectifier and regulator into the new shell, replacing any worn-looking seals. Wipe with clean hands, straddle the halves with the full of the seat bearings, secure bolts in the shape of a star to ensure everything is square. Re-fit the pulley, re-clip the unit, re-tension the belt, reconnect the battery, start the engine and ensure that the charge light is off and the belt is running smoothly without squeal indicates that your Alternator Case Kit job is completed.
