The Scion Battery Terminal assists in any Scion to start easily, by forming a clean and low resistance connection between the battery posts and the wiring. Scion was born in 2003 and captivated young motorists with bold colors, simple prices and special Release Series editions, allowing owners to stamp personality on the small, fun to drive cars. The brand served as an experiment on wheels, and even though the brand ended in 2016, the brand still underpins a lot of the current compact cars on the road. An adequately maintained Battery Terminal keeps such a legacy operating by supplying power to the starter, charging system and all electronic components without voltage drop. A new Scion Battery Terminal is an easy installation. The first thing to do is to turn off the ignition, open the hood, and wear eye protection. It is always necessary to loosen and lift the negative cable first before the positive cable to prevent short circuiting. Cleanse the posts and cable terminations to bare glittering metal to ensure that the terminal is able to clamp on. Connect the proper terminal to each post and make sure that the cable angles follow their paths and make sure that the bolts are just tight enough, but not excessively tight. Coat the contact with a thin layer of dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion, re-attach the positive lead, followed by the negative lead and pull each Battery Terminal to make certain that it snaps firmly into place. Complete this by twisting on your Scion and seeing the lights on the dash board light up which is a confirmation that good connections have been established.
