How to service the Air Filter Box on Scion xD?

To service the air filter box, remove the mass air flow meter, disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose, and loosen the air filter box hose clamp. Detach the air filter box assembly, remove the air filter element, and take out the inlet No. 1 air filter from the case.

How to properly install the Air Filter Box on Scion xB?

To install the 2AZ-FE intake air filter box assembly, attach the union tube and No. 2 intake air resonator, tightening its hose clamp. Secure the air filter box sub-assembly with 3 bolts, install hoses, and the filter element, then lock the cap and install the vacuum switching valve and mass air flow meter.
