How to service and repair the ignition switch on 2010 Toyota Yaris?

The first step to service the ignition switch entails removal of the negative battery cable. The next step requires rotating the steering wheel both to the right and left until each of the indicated screws can be removed. Removing these screws enables removal of the steering column cover. Completion of the ignition or starter switch assembly removal requires a disconnect of the connector along with removal of the two claws.
