Services and repairs of the ignition switch start by taking away the cable from the negative battery terminal. The steering column cover removes through a method of first turning the steering wheel right to see the first screw and removing it afterward turning left to reveal another screw and finally completing the removal with removal of this final screw. After disconnecting the connector the final step is to take out the ignition or starter switch assembly by unclipping the 2 claws for removal.
