2010 Toyota Yaris Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Properly Install Car Speakers in Your Vehicle on 2010 Toyota Yaris?
A: You should put the speaker's 2 claws into the body before installation. Install the speaker provisionally but finish the job with air or hand riveter when ready. Begin with an air riveter or hand riveter to attach the rear speaker assembly onto the quarter panel by placing three new strike rivets properly. Align the rivets to fit against the speaker without any space between them. Connect the speaker connector afterward. The installation process continues with putting on the front quarter trim panel assembly and front door opening trim Weather Strip before you attach the front door scuff plate. The production process requires installation of the rear seat assembly (60/40 Split Seat Type) on both Right Hand side block and Left Hand side block. Insight the No. 2 and No. 1 rear seat leg covers onto each side of the vehicle. Attach the rear seatback assembly together with the rear seat cushion cover pad sub-assembly of the Fold Down Seat Type. Install the deck floor box as a duplicate process on both RH and LH sides of the vehicle. Finish the installation by attaching the deck board sub-assembly with the package tray trim panel assembly while connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal where a 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque needs to be applied. The correct tool when mounting the rear seat elements is "Torx" socket wrench E10.
