  • Q: How to install the throttle body on 2010 Toyota Camry?
    A: The 2AZ-FXE engine control system requires installation of a new gasket to the intake manifold before starting the throttle body installation process. The installation process requires the attachment of purge line hose and water by-pass hose and both No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 1 throttle body hose to the throttle body. Use 4 bolts secured with 30 Nm torque to fasten the throttle body and fuel pipe clamp together. The installation process requires connecting the fuel tube to the clamp followed by attaching the throttle position sensor connector before securing the wire harness clamp. The air cleaner cap sub-assembly requires the installation of the air cleaner filter element onto the air cleaner case followed by insertion of hinges and securement with two bolts. Join the matchmarks between air cleaner hose No. 1 and throttle body then connect the hose No. 1 to the throttle body with clamp alignment at a proper angle. Fit the No. 2 ventilation hose to the air cleaner hose before connecting the purge line hose to the clamp along with both purge VSV vacuum hoses and the purge VSV connector and the mass air flow meter connector. Proceed by mounting the air cleaner inlet assembly followed by coolant addition for the engine and a precise check for any coolant leakage points. The last installation process includes No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly installation.
