- Q: How to install the throttle body on 2009 Toyota Camry?A: Implementing the throttle body on the 2AZ-FE engine control requires placing a new gasket on the intake manifold first. The installation of throttle body requires connecting the purge line hose with the water by-pass hose along with No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 1 throttle body hose to the throttle body. Use 4 bolts to secure the throttle body which need torquing to 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf). Join the fuel tube to both the clamp and the throttle position sensor connector as well as the wire harness clamp. The installment sequence starts with placing the air cleaner case sub-assembly before adding the air cleaner cap sub-assembly while making sure the air cleaner filter element is correctly positioned and the hinges exist in their slots. Insert and secure the two bolts to connect the air cleaner cap sub-assembly while matching both throttle body marks with the No. 1 air cleaner hose which requires correct positioning of the hose clamp. Secure all components of air cleaner hose installation by connecting No. 2 ventilation hose to air cleaner hose and purge line hose to clamp then attaching 2 purge VSV vacuum hoses with the purge VSV connector and mass air flow meter connector. The next part of the installation includes the air cleaner inlet assembly and engine coolant addition followed by leak tests before sub-assembly installation of the No. 1 engine cover.
