- Q: How to install the throttle body on 2008 Toyota Camry?A: Placing a new gasket onto the intake manifold stands as the first step for installing the throttle body onto the 2AZ-FE engine control system. Join the throttle body to the purge line hose while connecting water by-pass hose alongside No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 1 throttle body hose. Apply 4 bolts to the throttle body and fuel pipe clamp and tighten them to 30 Nm (305 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf). After junction the fuel tube to the clamp you should link it to the throttle position sensor connector and wire harness clamp. Apply the air cleaner filter element to the air cleaner case before inserting the hinges then fasten the cap with two bolts. Attain the match marks between the No. 1 air cleaner hose and throttle body while fitting the hose to the throttle body and setting the hose clamp at its proper angle. The system requires attachment of the No. 2 ventilation hose to the air cleaner hose while the purge line hose connects to the clamp and the 2 purge VSV vacuum hoses and purge VSV connector bind to the mass air flow meter connector. After the air cleaner inlet assembly installation the engine coolant addition and leak checks should be performed before completing the installation of the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly.
