2010 Toyota Camry Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to install the front speed sensor on 2010 Toyota Camry?
A: The front speed sensor requires a bolt installation where the torque should reach 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). Before every sensor removal it is essential to keep the installation area free from foreign materials and clean both the surface and hole. Entry of the front speed sensor requires two bolts which should anchor through the claws while Bolt A receives 5.0Nm torque (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf) and Bolt B needs a torque of 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf). Avoid twisting the wire harness while you perform the installation. The front speed sensor connector needs to be joined after completing installation while also clamping it in place. The next step involves installing the front fender liner together with the front wheel opening extension pad. Follow last step by attaching the front wheel using 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) torque then verify the speed sensor signal.
