The rear wiper motor needs three bolts for installation and these should reach 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf) torque value before connector connection. When working on the rear wiper arm and blade assembly users should clear metal particles from the wiper arm serrations using a round file then brush the wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush. The wiper operation should proceed as normal until the motor reaches the automatic stop position after which the rear wiper arm must be installed while torqueing the nut to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). This operation requires the operator to simultaneously hold the arm hinge down. Safely install the rear wiper arm head cap as the last step.
