- Q: How to install the heated oxygen sensor on 2010 Scion xB?A: The installation of the heated oxygen sensor for the 2AZ-FE engine control system requires Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to achieve proper sensor placement while torquing the sensor at 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) followed by a subsequent torque of 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf). Special Service Tool: should be placed at a 30 mm (1.18 in.) length while using a torque wrench with 300 mm (11.81 in.) fulcrum length to achieve torque while orienting the Tools parallel to the wrench during installation. Users must install the heated oxygen sensor connector while checking for exhaust gas leaks in the system.
