  A: The clutch master cylinder assembly needs to be fastened first with 2 nuts tightened to 13 Nm while maintaining a torque of 129 kgf-cm or 9 ft-lbf. When attaching the clutch master cylinder to the flexible hose tube use a union nut wrench to apply torque of 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf) but if you are lacking a union nut wrench apply 15 Nm (154 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf). You can attain this torque with a torque wrench that measures 300 mm (11.8 in.) and a union nut wrench with 22 mm (0.886 in.) fulcrum length as long as the union wrench remains in a parallel position to the torque wrench. We need to join the clutch reservoir tube to the clutch master cylinder by using the clip. The tube must remain untwisted and the white mark should be oriented upward. The contact surface of the pin and clevis bush requires application of MP grease before attaching the clevis to the clutch pedal with the pin and clip by inserting the pin from the right side of the vehicle.
