- Q: How to remove the front door Car Speakers on the RH side on 2010 Scion xB?A: The procedure for taking off the RH front door speaker matches the LH side unless alternate instructions are given starting with the front door armrest base upper panel removal and continuing with the front door lower frame bracket garnish removal. You must separate the 3 claws from the front No. 2 speaker assembly before removing it. Rotation of the front door trim sub-assembly follows removal of front door inside handle bezels. To detach front No. 1 speaker assembly first disconnect its speaker connector then use a drill with a bit smaller than 4 mm (0.16 in.) to drill out the three rivet heads for speaker removal while moving the drill at the rivet head circumference for safe flange cutting. Proceed with care during rivet removal since the fragrant rivet becomes extremely hot and maintain drill alignment to prevent drill harm while purposely aiming away from the drill hole. After removing the flange with your drill method continue drilling toward the door interior to provoke out remaining fragments and extract all debris with a vacuum cleaner.
