• Q: How to install the radiator and its components on 2010 Scion tC?

  A: Install the fan shroud by fixing the two pawl fittings followed by attaching the fan assembly with two bolts tightened to 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf). The installation order begins with the radiator support lower then continues with the radiator assembly that requires installation of 2 radiator support uppers and 2 bolts tightened to 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf). Users should complete wire installation beginning with connecting the radiator reservoir hose then proceeding to clamp the engine room main wire system followed by wiring the cooling fan motor components. Follow-up installation of automatic transaxle oil cooler tubes starting with the outlet tube connected to the inlet tube. Then attach the radiator hose outlet to its corresponding inlet. Before installation of the cable add engine coolant and secure it to the negative battery terminal. Check for coolant leaks while performing initialization tests that specific systems need when reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Place the engine under the Right Hand Engine Cover as the final step.
