• Q: How to install the brake booster on 2010 Scion tC?

  A: The installation of a brake booster needs the application of a new gasket to both brake booster components. Fit the brake booster with 4 nuts which require a torque of 12.7 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf). Before retaining the brake booster, secure the grommet and check valve to it. Use the clamp to connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster after which install the push rod clevis along with its lock nut and adjust the brake pedal height before torquing the clevis lock nut.
