  The installation of a brake booster needs the application of a new gasket to both brake booster components. Fit the brake booster with 4 nuts which require a torque of 12.7 Nm (130 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf). Before retaining the brake booster, secure the grommet and check valve to it. Use the clamp to connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster after which install the push rod clevis along with its lock nut and adjust the brake pedal height before torquing the clevis lock nut. Connect the three brake tubes into the clamps per the illustrations then bolt the clamp into position. Home-based accessory 09023-00101 should be utilized to tighten the No. 5 front brake tube onto its mounting point with 15 Nm torque (155 kgf-cm or 11 ft-lbf without tool) or 14 Nm torque (143 kgf-cm or 10 ft-lbf with tool) using a 30 cm (11.81 in.) torque wrench. The brake grommet must be properly placed into its designed position. Secure the front wheel left-hand unit while tightening it to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf). Boilerplate 1 Sub-assembly Master Cylinder Brake and Air Cleaner together with Lower Cowl Body Mounting Bracket LH and Cowl Water Extract Hose No. 1 must then be installed before the Outer Cowl Top Panel Sub-assembly. The Brake Master Cylinder pushrod needs its clevis attachment while the reservoir demands brake fluid addition before performing air bleed tests from the master cylinder and brake tubing. During brake fluid inspection check the brake pedal height and free play and adjust the reserve distance and verify the fluid level in the reservoir as well as perform fluid leak assessments.
