  A: Starting the installation of a hatchback air conditioning condenser requires users to use both claws to handle the condenser while placing it into position with proper care that avoids touching either the condenser or radiator. New installations of condensers require an addition of 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.) of compressor oil ND-OIL8 or equivalent to the condenser. Apply enough ND-OIL8 compressor oil or equivalent to a new O-ring and to the pipe joint surface while simultaneously installing the O-ring onto the liquid tube before tightening the bolt to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). User should continue the procedure of vinyl tape removal and new O-ring installation with compressor oil application before attaching the discharge hose to the condenser using a bolt torqued up to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Perform installation of the radiator support sub-assembly upper followed by the hood lock assembly (with or without theft deterrent system), No. 1 cooler cover then the radiator support absorber upper and finally the front bumper cover. Adjust the hood lock assembly and connect the cable to the negative battery terminal with proper torque settings of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Then charge the refrigerant before warming up the engine while inspecting for any refrigerant leaks.
