The 2 claws should be engaged to mount the cooler condenser assembly into the vehicle while maintaining care to avoid condenser or radiator damage. The installation of a new cooler condenser requires 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.) of ND-OIL8 compressor oil or its equivalent to be added to the condenser Japanese-style nuts. After removing vinyl tape from both parts of the cooler condenser the technician must connect the liquid tube sub-assembly A while applying sufficient ND-OIL8 or equivalent compressor oil to the O-ring along with the tube joint. The O-ring gets installed onto the air conditioning tube before tightening the bolt to a torque setting of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). To install the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose first remove its vinyl tape and the connecting part of the cooler condenser, then apply compressor oil (ND-OIL8 or equivalent) to the fitting surface of the hose joint and to a new O-ring, before installing the O-ring onto the discharge hose which should be attached to the cooler condenser using a bolt torqued to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). Assemble the sub-system sequentially beginning with upper radiator support, followed by No. 1 cooler cover, hood lock assembly, upper radiator support absorber and ending with front bumper cover. End the process by performing a check on the hood then charging the refrigerant before warming up the engine and testing for leaks.

Air conditioning condenser installation for hatchbacks requires users to handle the 2 claws when merging the condenser into position through the vehicle while avoiding damage to either the condenser or radiator parts. For the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose installation you should begin by removing the vinyl tape and then coating the O-ring along with the fitting surface with compressor oil before placing the O-ring on the condenser followed by tightening a bolt which requires a torque setting of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). You must install the radiator support sub-assembly upper part together with the hood lock assembly and its optional theft deterrent system and No. 1 cooler cover and radiator support absorber upper and front bumper cover before hood lock alignment. After connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal with 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) torque both refrigerant charging and engine warming and leak detection must be performed.

Remove the vinyl tape from the hose and the connecting part of the cooler condenser, apply ND-OIL8 or equivalent compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the hose joint, install the O-ring onto the discharge hose, and secure it to the cooler condenser with a bolt at a torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).

Remove the O-ring and seal the openings with vinyl tape.

Apply sufficient ND-OIL8 or equivalent compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.

Secure it with a bolt, torqued to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).

Install the O-ring onto the liquid tube and secure the tube onto the condenser with a bolt, torqued to 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf).

Install the radiator support sub-assembly upper, hood lock assembly (with or without theft deterrent system), No. 1 cooler cover, front bumper cover, and front spoiler cover as needed.

Disconnect it by removing the bolt and O-ring, sealing the openings with vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.
