2009 Toyota Venza Window Motor Parts Q&A
Q: How to remove the rear door window motor for the LH side on 2009 Toyota Venza?
A: The process of removing the LH side rear door window regulator motor begins with disconnecting the negative terminal cable from the battery then waiting 90 seconds to disable the SRS system before reconnection since certain SRS systems need initialization. Start by uninstalling both the rear door inside handle bezel plug and the rear power window regulator switch assembly together with the rear door armrest base panel. Remove all components including the rear door trim board sub-assembly along with the rear door inside handle sub-assembly and rear door service hole cover one after another. The procedure should begin with removal of the rear door glass run followed by the rear door window division bar sub-assembly and then the removal of the rear door glass sub-assembly. The last steps include using a T25 "TORX" driver to remove three screws which secure the motor assembly of the rear door window regulator and the rear power window regulator.
