A 90-second wait duration starting from independence switch OFF is necessary for the navigation system to process memory and settings before cable disconnect. Proceed by taking off both the Lower No. 2 Steering Wheel Cover followed by the Lower No. 3 Cover. When necessary detach the Steering Pad without the Steering Pad Switch or separate the Steering Pad with Switch from the system. To complete the process disconnect the Cruise Control Main Switch connector followed by 2 screw removal before extracting the switch according to the illustrations.
