2009 Toyota Sienna Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the engine oil cooler on 2009 Toyota Sienna?
A: The removal of the 2GR-FE engine oil cooler requires starting with the No. 1 engine under cover removal. The first step includes exhaust pipe assembly removal. Follow 2WD vehicle instructions or use 4WD vehicle steps for removal. Engine oil along with engine coolant need to be drained from the system. Take away both the No. 2 manifold stay and the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator after removal. The left-hand exhaust manifold sub-assembly removal follows the removal of other components. The engine oil cooler removal process begins by uninstalling the bolt while disconnecting the 2 water by-pass hoses and putting aside the bolt and assembly together with the O-ring.
