The first step includes draining coolant from the engine followed by removing the front wheel from the right-hand side and the right front fender apron seal. You must remove the V-ribbed belt from your next operating step. The process starts with disconnecting the No. 2 radiator hose at the engine before the removal of the No. 2 idler pulley sub-assembly requires unbolted separation of bolt and idler pulley cover plate and No. 2 idler pulley cover plate and the assembly. The diameter measurements for plates include 33.6 mm (1.32 in.) as the idler pulley cover plate size and 37.8 mm (1.49 in.) as the No. 2 idler pulley cover plate dimension. To complete the task you must first remove the water inlet by unbolted its two nuts and then detach the thermostat with its gasket.
