  A: The process begins with releasing the fuel system pressure before you proceed to unplug the Evaporative Emission Control Canister. Start by removing the rear No. 2 floor board and following it up with removal of the rear deck floor box and the rear No. 3 floor board. Unplug the battery terminal cable but let it wait for at least 90 seconds before proceeding to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. To begin the Evaporative Emission Control Canister removal process you should detach the lower center instrument panel finish panel and the rear seat cushion assembly followed by the rear floor service hole cover as well as the front floor panel brace and the front exhaust pipe and the fuel tank sub-assembly.
