  A: The installation process for 2GR-FE engine control system ECM starts by attaching 4 ECM brackets with 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27 in-lbf) torques then using 3 nuts to fix the ECM to the body also with 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). Install the 2 ECM connectors while checking for any contamination between the connectors and other parts before securing the 2 levers. Install the ECM body using three nuts which should be torqued to 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf).
