The installation of the side Air Bag sensor LH must wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the battery negative terminal (-) in a vehicle with an off ignition and negative terminal disconnected before starting work. Equip the side Air Bag sensor LH with the nut while applying torque at 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). Side Air Bag sensor LH needs replacement with a new unit when it demonstrates dropped condition or reveals damage on its case or connector or shows cracking or denting. Check that SRS wires maintain proper spacing between all other components while avoiding any form of enclosure or pinching during assembly. Also, inspect all installation components for possible looseness. Join the connector to the left-hand side Air Bag sensor. You should now proceed with building the front seat outer belt assembly while adding the center pillar garnish lower LH followed by rear door opening trim Weather Strip LH and front door opening trim Weather Strip LH with rear scuff plate and front scuff plate installing in that order. The negative battery terminal must receive the cable again before initialization because certain systems demand battery cable removal initialization.
