When performing the removal you should start by taking out the No. 2 cylinder head cover. The air cleaner cap sub-assembly requires removal with the attached hose by disconnecting the wire harness clamp and mass air flow meter connector then disconnecting No. 2 ventilation hose before loosening the hose clamp and unlocking the 2 clamps to complete the removal. Proceed to disconnect the throttle body connector together with the water by-pass hose and the No. 2 water by-pass hose. The removal process requires disassembling the throttle body assembly through unfastening two bolts and two nuts before eliminating the intake manifold gasket.
