How to install the rear shock absorber assembly on the LH side on 2008 Toyota Tundra?

The LH side rear shock absorber assembly installation starts by installing the 2 retainers with the No. 3 cushion onto the shock absorber followed by temporary attachment with the nut between the shock absorber and cushion and retainer. Fasten the lower portion of the shock absorber using bolt and nut but keep it in a temporary state. The vehicle should be lowered after which multiple pressing motions help to stabilize suspension systems. Secure the bolt and 2 nuts while torquing their upper side to 28 Nm (286 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf) and their lower side to 90 Nm (918 kgf-cm, 66 ft-lbf). As the final step secure the rear wheel with proper torque values of 131 Nm (1336 kgf-cm, 97 ft-lbf) when using aluminum wheels and 209 Nm (2131 kgf-cm, 154 ft-lbf) for steel wheels. Finally, remove the safety stands.
