How to remove the front shock absorber on 2008 Toyota Solara?

The first step for removing the front shock absorber requires removal of the front wheel. To disconnect the front stabilizer link assembly LH you must remove its nut while detaching it from the shock absorber assembly front LH through the use of a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to maintain the stud if the ball joint turns with the nut. There is no need to conduct this step when leaving the shock absorber intact. However, if disassembly is necessary, start by loosening the front shock absorber assembly lock nut. To proceed remove the bolt then disconnect the front flexible hose number one and speed sensor front left wire harness. Detach the lower front shock absorber with coil spring by first unscrewing its 2 nuts and 2 bolts until the bolts stay inside the structure. The last removal step involves removing three upper-side nuts from the front shock absorber piece with coil spring and extracting the coil spring unit while being careful about the 2 washers underneath the suspension brace center.
