How to remove the alternator on 2008 Toyota Solara?

The first step to remove the alternator from the 2AZ-FE charging system requires disconnecting the negative battery cable. First detach the front wheel from the right-hand side then separate the front fender apron seal from the same side. The first step requires removal of the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly and afterward the engine moving control rod with bracket. Next follow through with removal of the No. 2 engine mounting stay together with No. 2 engine mounting bracket from the right-hand side. Detach the fan together with the generator V belt first. Take out the generator connector before unscrewing the nut while disconnecting the wire harness from terminal B. Remove the bolt which also comes with the wire harness clamp bracket. Remove the wire harness clamps followed by the two bolts which secure the generator assembly.
