The initial step of charcoal canister assembly installation involves attaching it with 3 bolts at a 29 Nm torque level (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf). The installation requires connecting three hoses to the purge line and the wire harness clamp and vapor pressure sensor connector as well as associating the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly with the canister. The installation requires the fuel tank vent hose to be connected to the charcoal canister. Mount the charcoal canister protector in place with 6 bolts that need to be tightened to 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf).
