- Q: How to install the Yaw Sensor on 2008 Toyota Sequoia?A: The first step in Yaw Rate Sensor installation requires you to join the sensor connector labeled A and apply the clamp labeled B to the sensor bracket hole. Fasten the yaw rate sensor using its 2 nuts (C) which need to be tightened to 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf). During installation be sure to match the sensor orientation correctly and replace it if it falls to ground and maintain proper connector connection while keeping away from impact. The installation includes the sequence of rear console box assembly followed by console box carpet then rear console box pocket along with rear upper console panel sub-assembly then upper console panel sub-assembly and shift lever knob sub-assembly. The last step includes performing yaw rate sensor zero point calibration and verifying the yaw rate sensor signal.
