2008 Toyota Prius Antenna Cable Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service the antenna cable on 2008 Toyota Prius?
A: Prior to servicing antenna cable one must disconnect it from the negative battery terminal and wait for at least 90 seconds to stop Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. Service the antenna cable through the removal of required assembly components from the roof headlining assembly. The procedure begins by removing the antenna cord connector before taking out its 10 clamps together with the ground bolt along with the antenna cord from the antenna cord sub-assembly. Proceed to remove the instrument panel sub-assembly after you separate all its fittings. Disconnect the connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly before unclipping three clamps and two claws to take out the antenna cord.
