You should install the Spiral Cable Sub-Assembly followed by attaching the Upper Steering Column Cover and the Lower Steering Column Cover. The Spiral Cable requires adjustment before adding the Steering Wheel Assembly along with the Steering Pad and Lower No. 2 and Lower No. 3 Steering Wheel Covers. The cable needs to be connected to the negative battery terminal after which the Autoaway/Return function needs resetting through parameter customization to return to the previous settings. The SRS warning light should be checked after installation to verify correct system performance.
