How to install the windshield wiper motor assembly and related components on 2008 Toyota Highlander?

Install windshield wiper motor with 3 bolts (torque 5.4 Nm) before engaging the clamp, matching parts, and setting the crank arm assembly using 17 Nm. Apply MP grease to the crank arm and link rod joint. Use MP grease to lubricate the crank arm pivot and attach the rod of the wiper link assembly to it. Place the windshield wiper motor and link assembly on 4 bolts then tighten to 7.0 Nm while connecting the connector. Press the 20 holding claws into the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly openings and secure with 2 clips. Seam the front fender to cowl side seals LH and RH by inserting two claws each. Press the eight clips to fix the hood to cowl top seal. To install the RH front wiper arm and blade properly you should operate the wiper to reach automatic stop position before cleaning arm surfaces and pivots for assembly installation with the nut tightened to 24 Nm while holding the arm by hand during torque. Follow this step with the left-hand wiper components to verify proper operation of both wipers during washer fluid distribution on the windshield screen.
