How to remove the front wiper motor on 2008 Toyota Highlander?

You should take off the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH by removing its nut before pulling out the front wiper motor. The second wiper motor assembly front arm and blade assembly needs to be disassembled RH side also. The removal of the hood to cowl top seal calls for disengaging the 8 clips. Once you disconnect the front fender to cowl side seal on the LH side you must do the same for the RH side before removing the 2 clips. The cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly can be extracted by releasing 20 claws. Unplug the connector then unfasten the 4 bolts to remove both windshield wiper motor and link assembly units from the system. To disconnect the rod of the windshield wiper link assembly from the crank arm pivot of the windshield wiper motor assembly connect a screwdriver with taped tip and place matchmarks on both assemblies. After separating the nut and crank arm assembly function to disengage the clamp it is possible to remove the windshield wiper motor assembly using the 3 bolts.
