Use Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to fully tighten the sensor to a torque of 44Nm (449kgf-cm, 32ft-lbf). After that, connect the sensor connector and clamp. The installation protocol applies identically to PZEV and non-PZEV automobile models. After placing the air fuel ratio sensor, non-PZEV models require the installation of the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator via 4 bolts tightened to 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf).
