Start the alternator reassembly by fitting the drive end frame bearing into position using Special Service Tool set 09950-60010, 09951-00250, 09950-70010 and 09951-07100 mounted on a press. Attach the retainer plate tabs within the drive end frame cutouts then tighten it with 4 screws which require a torque of 2.3 Nm (23 kgf-cm, 20 in-lbf). The next step involves setting the drive end frame on the clutch pulley after which the generator rotor should be inserted onto the generator rectifier end frame. Following this, install a new generator washer before moving forward. Use Special Service Tool: 09612-70100, 09612-07240 along with a press to install the generator coil assembly into the drive end frame. Subsequently tighten the four bolts to 5.8 Nm (59 kgf-cm, 51 in-lbf) and attach the cord clip with a bolt torque of 4.6 Nm (47 kgf-cm, 41 in-lbf). Insert both brush pieces into the holder and use a 1.0 mm (0.039 in.) pin to secure them but remove the pin prior to installing two screws which need to be torqued to 1.8 Nm (18 kgf-cm, 16 in-lbf). The generator rectifier end frame receives the terminal insulator as a first step before the generator rear end cover goes on using three nuts at 4.6 Nm (47 kgf-cm, 41 in-lbf). Mount the rotor shaft to its vise clamp before sliding its end through the Rotor Shaft Holding Tool. Now set the Clutch Pulley Wrench with the Special Service Tool: 09820-63020. Apply the Clutch Pulley Wrench onto the clutch pulley then torque it clockwise to 111 Nm (1,125 kgf-cm, 81 ft-lbf). The tool requires a new clutch pulley cap after generator assembly removal while also verifying clutch pulley freespinning capability.
