Start by removing the air cleaner inlet assembly and then proceed to take off the air cleaner cap sub-assembly before removing the air cleaner case sub-assembly. To remove the starter assembly of the manual transaxle you should first disconnect the terminal 50 connector and afterwards remove the nut which enables you to disconnect the wire harness from terminal 30. The remaining steps include removing three bolts before taking out the clutch flexible hose bracket and the starter assembly. To remove the starter assembly for automatic transaxle one must first disconnect the terminal 50 connector from the starter assembly, disassemble the nut and separate the wire harness from terminal 30 before removing the two bolts.
