The LH side installation of the side Air Bag sensor assembly needs 2 nuts and a bolt to secure it with a torque of 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 82 in-lbf). A sensor replacement must happen when there is evidence of drops or visible cases of cracks or dents or defects found in the case, bracket, or connector unit. The wire leading to the SRS system must be handled carefully to prevent contact with other components when installation occurs. Verify through a post-installation check whether the sensor base properly fits its mounting point. Perform the installation of front door service hole cover LH, front door inside handle sub-assembly LH and front door trim board sub-assembly LH after connecting the sensor connector. To complete installation arrange the switch connector for the front armrest base panel upper LH and apply the clip and 5 claws for securing the master switch with other components. Secure the assist grip cover together with the front door lower frame bracket garnish LH. When the cable attaches to the negative battery terminal users should perform initialization because some systems need this process following battery replacement.
