  A: The service and repair of the fuel injector begins with draining fuel system pressure before uninstalling the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and engine cover sub-assembly No. 1. Carefully take out the fuel delivery pipe with its injectors while disconnecting the fuel tube sub-assembly despite keeping the injectors from falling loose. The service requires removal of ventilation hose Number 2 and connector separation from each of the 4 injectors along with disconnection of 2 clamps and harness wires from the delivery pipe. You need to remove two bolts to receive the delivery pipe coupled with its four injectors and afterward eliminate the two spacers found on the cylinder head. To install the system begin with installing new insulators on each injector after applying grease or gasoline to a fresh O-ring for the injector and the delivery pipe O-ring area. To install the fuel injector within the delivery pipe, carefully twist it back and forth before checking the smooth rotation after installation.
