2007 Toyota Sienna Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to service and repair the front lower Control Arm on 2007 Toyota Sienna?
A: Service and repair of the front lower suspension arm requires removing the engine assembly with transaxle before proceeding to detach the transverse engine mounting insulator through its 3 nuts. Begin by unfastening the 2 bolts on the front side and the bolt and nut on the rear side of the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH before detaching the assembly together with the front lower arm bush stopper. The first step for installation entails attaching the front lower arm bush stopper to the front suspension arm sub-assembly lower No.1 LH before applying 206 Nm (2,100 kgf-cm, 152 ft. lbs.) torque to the bolt and nut on the rear side and then tightening the 2 bolts on the front side to 200 Nm (2,040 kgf-cm, 148 ft. lbs.). Reinstall the engine assembly with transaxle after installing the transverse engine mounting insulator using 3 nuts at 87 Nm (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.).
