A proper installation of the rear speaker begins with taking off the rear door scuff plate and then proceeding to remove the rear door Weather Strip followed by the back door Weather Strip and finally the back door scuff plate. You must first disconnect the connector from the quarter trim front panel assembly and the rear speaker assembly before extracting both parts by removing their respective 3 screws. Start by installing the 3 screws into the rear speaker assembly before reconnecting the connector when tightening the screws according to their installation sequence. The last step in the door panel assembly requires installing the quarter trim front panel assembly followed by the back door scuff plate and back door Weather Strip and rear door Weather Strip before inserting the rear door scuff plate.
