- Q: How to remove and install Liftgate Lift Support on 2007 Toyota Sienna?A: The replacement process of Back Door Support starts with removing the Back Door Stay Sub-Assembly LH by removing two bolts and detaching the stay from the body panel. You should use a screwdriver to disconnect the clips from the door panel before extracting the stay from the slot. Then remove the bolt that secures the panel. After fastening the bolts onto the door panel position the stay and apply 19.5 N.m torque (200 kgf.cm and 14 ft.lbf) to the door-side. Use the 2 bolts to attach the stay to the body panel while torquing it to 17.5 N.m (180 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf) at the body side.
