• Q: How to remove and install the radiator on 2007 Toyota Sequoia?

  A: Start the radiator replacement by first removing engine under cover No. 1 and draining the engine coolant. Safely disconnect all hoses attached to the radiator including the reservoir hose, upper hose, lower hose and the A/T oil cooler hoses. Start by detaching the No. 2 fan shroud through 2 clips before moving to the radiator assembly with its 4 bolts. Next in line is to delete the No. 1 fan shroud after unscrewing its 4 bolts. Install the No. 1 fan shroud by securing its 4 bolts to a torque value of 5.0 Nm (50 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). Set the radiator bracket hooks to the radiator support holes and install the 4 bolts for the radiator assembly at 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.). The installation involves placements of the No. 2 fan shroud with two clips followed by hose connections for A/T oil cooler, upper radiator, lower radiator, and reservoir to the radiator. The engine needs engine coolant after which testing for leaks is performed followed by engine coolant recheck before finally securing the engine under cover No. 1.
