2007 Toyota Prius Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to service the front Wiper Blade on 2007 Toyota Prius?
A: Starting the front wiper rubber servicing process requires first removing the front wiper blade using the claw detachment and wiper blade removal steps while being cautious to avoid folding the wiper arm which could damage the windshield surface. Extraction of the wiper rubber head starting from the large side of the wiper blade requires pulling in the indicated direction and evenly toward you to prevent bothBacking plate deformation and blade claw damage. Disassemble the wiper rubber backing plates both at the front and back of the wiper rubber assembly. You should begin by mounting the 2 packing plates onto the rubber such that their placement is correct. Use the indicated direction to mount the wiper rubber onto the wiper blade claw before you attach its head section (large side) to the rear end claw of the blade. To install the wiper blade, attach the claw as the last step.
