How to service the front wiper blade on 2006 Toyota Prius?

The procedure for servicing the front wiper blade on the LH side mirrors that used for the RH side. Prepare the wiper blade removal step by step and pull off the claw according to the picture but handle the blade with caution to avoid damaging the windshield surface when removing it. Remove the wiper rubber head section (large end) from the blade and proceed to take it out while watching for directions to avoid straining the backing plate or claw of the blade. Detach the two wiper rubber backing plates that exist on the wiper rubber items. Begin wiper blade installation by installing the two packing plates onto the rubber while maintaining their designated direction. Secure the wiper rubber to the wiper blade claw according to directions before attaching the large part of the wiper rubber to the wiper blade rear end side claw. Before installing the wiper blade it is important to securely attach the claw.
