How to replace the Liftgate Lift Support on the left-hand side on 2007 Toyota Matrix?

The first step to uninstall the LH-side back door support entails using a screwdriver with taped tip to detach the stay clip from the stay up side. The back door needs manual support before removing the stay clip from the stay lower side. After uninstallation of the stay bracket you need to remove both bolts from the support. The first step for installation requires attaching the stay bracket to its place using 2 bolts tightened to 7.0 N.m torque (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf). Finally attach the stays with the 2 stay clips.
