How to install Liftgate Lift Support for the back door upper damper stay bracket on Toyota Matrix?

In order to install the back door upper damper stay bracket, remove dirt in the threaded area of the vehicle and paste using adhesives to the bolts. Install the bracket with torque of 7.5 Nm. Of the stay bolt, clean and torque to 22 Nm. Do not attempt to touch the stroke portions of the rod and make sure that it is properly assembled.

How to remove and replace the liftgate lift support assembly LH on Toyota Matrix?

To assemble the replacement of the back door stay assembly LH, unscrew the stay clips with a taped screwdriver, and hold the back door up. Removed stay, bracket and bolts. To install, 2 bolts at 7.0 N. m torque screwed the bracket in and install the stay using the clips. Repeat for RH side.
