Begin the back door lock assembly removal procedure by taking out the back door center garnish followed by the left-hand side back door side garnish and finally the right-hand side back door side garnish. You must remove the back door trim board assembly after you have taken out the back door center garnish. The lock assembly needs its back door lock control cable sub-assembly disconnected followed by rod disconnection according to the illustration and connector unplug. Finish the back door lock assembly uninstallation by removing three bolts that secure it.
